It was nice to be back doing Dr. Sketchy’s after we had July off. The model was Imin Yurpants, and she had some great props!
I also felt quite honored to win both model’s choice and audience choice for one of my drawings. <3
Here is the colored cover to Psycho Girlfriend, written by Meredith Nudo and illustrated by me! It was misprinted without a page in the latest issue of SCN, so we are working on a way to get the full story to you guys soon! Stay tuned for details and enjoy the pulp-tastic cover in the meantime. :D
I collaborated with the awesome Meredith Nudo to do a five page short for the latest issue of Space City Nerd! If you are local, come by the release party this Friday! I’ll have a table there selling original art, commissions, art cards, prints and issues of The Class, as will awesome peeps like Jamie Kinosian, Isaiah Broussard, Toni Shelton and many more!
The room was full, everyone was really awesome in the audience too!
I want to make this like a long term roundtable with the rest of the panelists if possible, maybe take questions off twitter and email since the audience was doing such a great job of keeping the ball going ~

Yes! I’m definitely up for continuing conversation…it seemed like both the panel and the audience could have kept talking for quite a while!
This weekend I participated in the Space City Con Women in Comics panel. It had a great back and forth discussion with the audience, and was moderated by the wonderful Meredith Nudo and sponsored by Space City Nerd. The panel consisted of Alva Coto (who manages the wonderful Third Planet store in Houston), Jamie Kinosian, me, Bruce Small and Lane Montoya.
